The RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2014

As you’ll be well aware of by now (if not, where have you been hiding?!) the annual RHS Chelsea show is in full swing this week. Held in the grounds of Chelsea hospital this has been a prestigious occasion since 1913. Having attended the event ourselves we have to say it is five wonderful days bursting with beautiful blooms, vibrant colours and all-round joyous people.

Today we thought we’d bring you some of our favourite snaps from the show so far. From weird to funky there is so much to take in at this event. If you’ve taken some great pictures then please feel free to post them below

bonsai tree- The Garden Furniture Centre

Bonsai literally means ‘planted in a container’ in Japanese. The history and art culture of these trees is very interesting so naturally we had to get a snap of the lovely little fellas!

Floral Dresses

We enjoyed the creativity of this stand, a completely different way to show off your flower arrangement, brilliant!

Eastern Garden

This eastern inspired garden was absolutely beautiful, the colour themes running through it are so complementary of each other, the golds, oranges and reds, along with the pink and whites really set this one off.

sea-shell-gorilla
This piece is absolutely brilliant, comprised from sea shells! It must have took a lot of time and patience to craft this beauty.
wooden-animals2
We sell pieces of a very similar nature here at The Garden Furniture Centre, so it was great to see some different animals being show cased. The crafstmanship that goes into these products is unbelievable. The bear and wild horses particularly jumped out at us. wood-bear

Nelson Mandela Garden

We couldn’t miss the opportunity to snap this one. Dedicated to Mandela this one speaks for itself.

If you’ve been to the show we hope you had a wonderful time, it’d be great if you could share your favourite snaps with us below!
