Does the Mirage gazebo only come in standard sizes?
The Mirage is available in a range of standard sizes, but it can also be made completely bespoke. You can choose any length, width and height (between 2m and 3m), and even select a custom RAL colour to perfectly match your home or garden. For bespoke Mirage models, we require a 40% non-refundable deposit when ordering, with the remaining balance due the week before installation. Before production begins, we provide a fully itemised quote along with detailed technical drawings for you to review and sign off.
What side options are available for the Mirage?
The Mirage can be fitted with sliding glass doors on as many sides as you like, or with solid aluminium panels. Many customers choose a three-sided design that sits neatly against the house. Importantly, we do not attach to your property during installation, we abut to the wall then make watertight with mastic flashing. The Mirage can even be dismantled and taken with you if you move home.
Do you offer solid wall panels?
Yes, we offer solid aluminium panels, which are approximately half the cost of glass sliding doors. These are ideal if you want to fully block one side — and they’re even strong enough to mount a TV onto.
How does the Mirage louvered roof operate?
The Mirage roof is powered by a hydraulic ram that operates one strengthened louvre, which then drives the rest of the system. There are no belts, chains or oil involved — meaning no ongoing mechanical maintenance. The only maintenance required is occasional cleaning of the roof gutters and keeping the door tracks clear of debris.
Is the Mirage roof waterproof?
Yes. Rainwater flows from the louvres into internal gutters on all four sides. The water is then channelled down through the legs, which act as integrated downpipes, and exits neatly at ground level. There are also 5mm nylon weather brushes around the roof edges to minimise wind-driven rain. The roof has been tested to withstand up to 400mm of snow.
Does the Mirage have built-in lighting?
Yes, the louvres include integrated LED lighting in both warm white (3000K) and cool white (6000K). The lights are dimmable via the remote control or through the TUYA Smart app.
Do you offer a log burner option for the Mirage?
Yes — and we are the only company in the UK to offer this specially designed Mirage log burner kit. It has been developed exclusively for us by a local Black Country flue manufacturer. The kit includes: A 5kW highly efficient log burner Hearth and rear heat shield for safety 304-grade insulated stainless steel flue A fixed roof blanking panel that replaces three louvres to maintain waterproofing This is the only log burner system we supply, designed specifically to integrate safely with the Mirage.
What is the Mirage made from?
The Mirage frame is constructed from 3mm thick powder-coated aluminium, meaning it will not rust. Frame colour: RAL7016 Anthracite Grey Roof louvres: RAL9016 Traffic White The white louvre roof helps keep the space bright and airy, particularly when installed next to a house.
How strong is the glass?
The sliding doors are made from 10mm toughened safety glass and are wind tested up to 120km/h.
