Well-known for its finish - which is second to none where hardwoods are concerned – Mango Hardwood is also an eco-friendly timber due to the fact that it is used for carving purposes after its fruit-bearing harvest is over.
Carved from a single piece of timber this carving has a heart-shaped top that shows the golden-brown heart-wood off to great effect.
The wood is kiln dried to give a super-smooth finish overall.
The one turn shape then displays the depth of this heartwood down its centre and is elegantly surrounded by the yellower-coloured outer timber.
The completed carving is stunning and totally bespoke to each buyer …
All edges are rounded and smoothed for that perfect finish and the underside is finished off with a felt pad for added protection.
