The painted white finish is applied evenly by hand and the lid has a wooden support that holds it open when needed. There is also a leather clasp to hold it shut if required.
The linen laundry bags inside the frame in each compartment sit on velcro fixings making them removable so the laundry can be very easily transferred to the washing machine in one go.
