The 1.5 Metre Malvern …
The perfect choice for domestic garden seating …
The ergonomic, high-backed design of all our Malvern Benches combined with the soft and smooth finish of the A Grade, Burmese Teak means you don’t particularly need a cushion.
Although adding a cushion does complete the look beautifully.
With a high back rest and lovely curvature in the timber on the seating area the Malvern design stands out and offers a really majestic feel to your outdoor space.
The wide back panel offers the perfect surface for having it engraved as a Memorial Bench either for you or as a present …
And you can upload the details of your desired inscription directly through our catalogue making it super-easy to arrange.
We import them from Thailand because their manufacturers have a reputation for being the best in the world where working with teak wood is concerned.
The quality of manufacturing is a no-compromise process …
Mortice and tenon joints are reinforced with teak dowels for long lasting quality for years to come – unlike the bolted benches currently found at lower prices on the market today that you find will get the classic, ‘bench wobble,’ that’s so frustrating over time.
The enduring qualities of teak …
It is no secret that teak is the best wood for use in outdoor furniture due to the high oil content that offers natural protection from the elements, fire and insect attack.
The wood is also not susceptible to cracking, warping or splitting over time …
And it will take on the lovely silver-grey patina that is classic in aged teak particularly the A Grade varieties that we insist upon.
The original golden hue of the wood can easily be restored with mild soapy water and some elbow grease.
This is purely for cosmetic purposes the beauty of teak means that, in actual fact, you don’t have to do anything to it at all.
The ageing process can be helped and cleaning can be made easier with the use of our Teak Care Products.

I bought this bench after trawling the internet and trying out others at garden centres. I decided on this one and I'm more than pleased with my choice. The design and quality of workmanship are just superb. Where one piece of timber joins another piece is completely smooth, everywhere, unlike some products from other well-known manufacturers.
